Hands On Orlando’s projects do not help or support Hands On Orlando in any way. When you volunteer on any of our projects, we are serving you.

Why are donations needed?

As a non-profit organization, Hands On Orlando spends its very limited resources to recruit and support volunteers on projects that we identify, plan and manage.

Non-profit agencies, public schools, parks and recreation centers, volunteers and people in need of some helping hands are all direct beneficiaries.

By donating money to Hands On Orlando, you cause the greatest possible impact:

1. At-risk individuals receive direct benefits…

2. Many, diverse, non-profit agencies get help…

3. Volunteers learn about community issues...

4. Citizen volunteers are engaged as involved problem solvers…

Our work is quite detailed, yet we look like the tip of an iceberg; you only see what’s sticking out of the water. In reality, a great deal of time and effort goes into every project that we identify, plan and manage.

The entire Central Florida community benefits because of Hands On Orlando’s unselfish work.

Results...

We tackle community problems head-on and our impact is powerful and long-lasting.

Besides helping people who are at-risk, we’ve engaged over 125,000 volunteers. No other non-profit has done this in Central Florida.

We’ve also saved our non-profit partner organizations hundreds of thousands of dollars by getting important work done (labor, tools, supplies), while eliminating the tradition barriers people face who want to volunteer.

And, well over $250,000 in donations have been given to the organizations we help, solely because of Hands On Orlando’s hard work.

How can you and others help?

Everyone, especially volunteers we serve and agencies we support, is encouraged to make monetary donations.

People are more likely to donate to Hands On Orlando if someone they know asks them to give. So, if you are a volunteer, tell your friends and ask them to make a contribution.

Host a party or event or coordinate a fundraiser. We will be happy to send a representative.

Hands On Orlando also offers a variety of meaningful project and high visibility event sponsorship opportunities.
