Hands On Orlando has teamed up with the World Community Grid to support science research projects that benefit humanity.
You can make a difference, and it’s easy. Everyone with a computer and Internet connection can participate. As a volunteer, you donate the time that your computer is turned on buy idle to process bits of scientific data.
Over 1,022,881 computers are connected to the Grid. Volunteers have contributed over 169,162 years of computer run time. All volunteers who join team Hands On Orlando will be listed on this page as supporters (updated on a periodic basis).

To demonstrate Hands On Orlando’s commitment to this project, we have connected all seven of our computers to the Grid.
You’ll be able to select from several research projects to support. Two projects that we believe will gain support from our volunteers are finding a cure for Cancer and fighting AIDS. |
