Help at-risk, pre-school age children improve their reading, writing, math, play and social skills by becoming a Play Pal.
Your involvement may involve one-on-one (supervised) or group interactions with children. You may be asked to assist a teacher or staff member.
Once you express interest in this project, we will e-mail you detailed information and guidelines.
To help insure child safety, you will need to meet with a daycare staff member for a brief orientation...before you volunteer. Filling out some paperwork may also be necessary.
Our Project Coordinator for Play Pals is employed by the daycare center.
ODN provides a cheerful environment where volunteers are welcome.
We hope you will enjoy your experience enough to volunteer on a regular schedule, but that isn’t required.
Please try to plan your volunteer experience a few days in advance of today’s date.
