It costs money to serve and support people who volunteer. Money is our most important need. Here's why.
All Hands On Orlando projects benefit third-party charities and public schools, not HOO. Yet projects are planned, managed and led by HOO.
We do not charge charities, public schools and parks for our services or people who use HOO to participate in our calendar-based projects. We are not a United Way agency and do not solicit government funding.
Please donate what you can: $10, $100, $1000 or any amount. Individuals, clubs and companies have the power to keep Hands On Orlando going for another 20 years.
Hands On Orlando is a federally tax-exempt, 501(c)3, non-profit charity.
Hands On Orlando's work has helped (1) hundreds of thousands of people, (2) aided over 300 community organizations/charities, (3) served over 200,000 volunteers and (4) created community leadership opportunities for Project Leaders, since 1999.
Charities we help can also receive grants from third-parties...because of our efforts. This is due to the number of volunteers/hours HOO accrues at their sites. Yes, they get important work accomplished for free and also receive money based upon the work we accomplish! Hands On Orlando receives nothing.
