Hands On Orlando interns must receive college course credit hours and are not paid a wage. Why? We spend significant time supporting interns who don't typically have career experience. Internship schedules are flexible (typically 10-20 hours per week).
Hands On Orlando works to solve community problems by inspiring, educating and empowering people to make a difference through volunteer action.
HOO identifies, plans, manages and leads awesome volunteer projects and is not a referral service. Projects do not help Hands On Orlando, but rather third-party organizations!
HOO has served over 200,000 volunteers from all 50 States, Puerto Rico and more than 60 countries. We have assisted over 300 non-profit agencies, schools and parks and managed 6000+ projects.
Hands On Orlando is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, federally tax-exempt, charitable organization, founded in 1999.
