Join us in restoring and preserving our local environment! Volunteers play a vital role in maintaining trails, protecting native plants, and keeping our park clean. Whether you're clearing paths, identifying native species, or removing invasive plants, your efforts directly contribute to a healthier ecosystem.
For corporations, we also offer backpack or care package assembly in a hotel/convention space, which directly benefits school students in the surrounding communities. Please submit our contact form below to coordinate a date.

Corporate & Team Volunteering
Hands On Park offers a rewarding opportunity for corporate groups, teams, and individual volunteers to engage in hands-on community service. Located along the shores of Lake Mann in Orlando, the park has been transformed from an overgrown lot into a thriving outdoor learning environment and community gathering place, thanks to the dedication of volunteers.
Corporate and team volunteers play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the park, along with contributing to environmental education, community engagement, and urban green space conservation. This experience provides a refreshing change from indoor meetings, offering teams the chance to collaborate outdoors while enjoying scenic views of downtown Orlando over Lake Mann.
Volunteering at Hands On Park fosters teamwork, strengthens community connections, and allows participants to make a tangible impact in a dynamic setting. Whether you're part of a corporate team, a convention group, or simply looking for a meaningful way to give back, we welcome your support.

Volunteer Days
If you are over 18, please select any of the links below to sign up for a volunteer day at Hands On Park.
June 3, 2025 from 8:30 – 11:30 am
September 6, 2025 from 8:00 – 11:00 am
December 6, 2025 from 8:00 – 11:00 am
March 7, 2026 from 8:00 to 11:00 am
Note: Last day to sign up is two days before the volunteer day. If you are under 18, please submit the contact form below with your age and requested volunteer day to receive instructions on completing the required waiver.
Corporate teams or clubs – environmental, scouts, etc. - please submit the contact form below to coordinate a specific date.
The volunteer activities are based on people's skill/energy level and include:

Maintaining a network of trails that includes removing debris.

Transporting/spreading mulch on the trails.

Removing invasive plants that threaten the natural ecosystem.

Using skimmers to remove debris from the stormwater stream that runs through the property.

Using ‘grabbers’ to pick up loose trash and collect recyclables.

For corporations, backpack or care package assembly
We recommend everyone wear comfortable closed toe shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty and sunblock. Water will be provided, and you are welcome to bring any snacks or electrolytes.
